My First Two Monkeys

Here is the finished product. I think they turned out pretty well. :)

Sock Monkeys

I've been bitten by the craft bug. I decided I really wanted to make Sock Monkeys. Above is what they look like. You have to buy these special socks, work socks that have a red heel. I did order the socks online, but in the meantime, I'm making a prototype with a pair of my socks. Here is the work in progress below.

He's short an ear, a tail, and eyes and a mouth. Steve said he looks like a potato with limbs. I don't know. Maybe.

Montreal

A couple of weeks ago, our friend Nicole scored us some tickets to see the Leafs play the Habs in Montreal. Although it was cold and snowy, it was a great trip. Not only did the Leafs win!, we ate some awesome food. Here are a few pics of the weekend.
